FV2 CE: The Lumberjack Championship is on!

Our town has the honor of hosting the annual Lumberjack championship this year! Roll up your sleeves and prepare for some woodcutting action. Represent our town in the games and help host a championship to remember!

If you are at least Level 12, you will see a pop-up inviting you to the Lumberjack Championship! You will need to force close the game to see the update, which means to clear it from your mobile device’s memory. You may even need to reboot your device.

Start off by visiting the Lumber Ground, located behind Eagle Eye Eddie’s airplane. You will see 3 orders at a time. Earn Points by harvesting (crops) or crafting the items requested. Each item that appears on the board will have a different timer, giving you time to get the items needed.

Tip: Check the Farm Stand often to see if your friends are selling what you need.

The Lumberjack Championship starts on September 27 – October 8, 2017, giving you a total of 12 days to compete with players for the top leaderboard position and complete the Lumberjack Championship quests.

Boosts: Gold and Silver Saws

You can boost the amount of Style points by 50% for coins, or by 100% with keys. There will be a timer once a boost is activated and a short cool-down period when you can buy another boost. Boosts will last 1 hour, and you can only select one boost at a time. (prices subject to change based on level).

Leaderboard:

The Leaderboard tab shows you the leaderboard that you are in. Not everyone you know will be in the same leaderboard. The leaderboard tab will tell you which prize category you’re currently in (Gold, Silver, or Bronze). You can also see how you rank among your friends. To be fair to all, you will be in a leaderboard with others of similar level.

Rewards:

The top 5 players at the end of each stage get to earn the exclusive, permanent Farm-Hand, Woody the Dog. Those ending up in the Silver tier will get Gold Stamps, Padlocks, Keys, and a Holy Cow Pin, while players in the Bronze tier will get Silver Stamps, Padlocks, Golden Gloves, and a Holy Cow Pin. Those who did not place in any tiers get Maple Syrups and Colored Yarns on the first stage, and 1,000 Coins on the second stage.

The 2nd Stage gives you another shot to win Woody the Dog. If you have won Woody from the first stage, this stage will upgrade him into a Lumberjack Dog.

Note: You will only be able to earn one of the rewards, not all three! Your rank on the last day last moment of the event determines the reward you will receive!

Temporary Place of Interest: Log Cabin

Across the road from the Lumber Ground is the Log Cabin. You can send up to 4 Farm Hands to get Event items such as Chocolate Bars, Maply Syrups, and Colored Yarns, etc.

New items needed and where to locate it:

Chocolate Bar: Lumber Ground, Grandma’s Glade, Prized Cow, and Prized Chicken

Maple Syrup: Lumber Ground, Merryweather Mine, Prized Pig, Prized Reindeer, and Prized Sheep

Colored Yarn: Lumber Ground, Pappy’s Pond, the Cove, Mallard Mill, Prized Horse, and Prized Goat

Tip: Crafted items that need these ingredients will be worth higher Log points! Make sure to have plenty of these items to help you move up on the leaderboard!

Temporary Farm Hand: Lumberjack Paul and Farmer Bailey

You can purchase the Lumberjack Paul, and/or Farmer Bailey to help you during the Lumberjack Championship. They will help you find the needed rare event items, and will leave your farm once the event ends.
