FV2 CE: “Legends of the Farmdog Trail Event”

Famous legend hunter Jack Pennyfeather has discovered that our farm may hold the secret to several legends of the Farmdog Trail. Sled Dogs are the best way to explore the trail, so Jack is bringing along his Lead Dog and Master Trail Guide. Pennyfeather would like to set up his base of operations on our farm, and has requested your help in discovering the truth behind these amazing legends.

If you are at least level 12, you will see a pop-up inviting you to the Legends of the Farmdog Trail Event. You will need to force close the game to see the update, which means to clear it from your mobile device’s memory. You may even need to reboot your device.

Note: You will need to reach level 14 to unlock Phase 3, and level 18 to play phases 4 and 5.

You have until January 22 to complete the Legends of the Farmdog Trail quests, and win Jack Pennyfeather as a temporary Farm Hand.

Start off the quests by visiting the Event Green located behind Eagle Eye Eddie’s airplane. The Event Green will serve as Pennyfeather’s HQ, with a canvass canopy, and desks spread out to help our Legend Hunter find what he seeks.

There will be Travel Trunks along the way that will give out rewards to help you in the next phase. Some rewards will be items needed to explore the Mine, Pond, etc.

Temporary Place of Interest: Farmdog Trail

The Farmdog Trail is a temporary area that will drop the different items needed in each recipe. For example, it will drop Raisins, which you will need in Phase 1.

Temporary Farm Hands: Nora and Crimson

You have the option to purchase Pennyfeather’s Trail Guide, Nora, and/or his Lead Dog, Crimson, as Farm Hands to help you out in the Legends of the Farmdog Trail Event. They will give you a higher chance of finding rare event items and more! Please be aware that they are temporary, and will leave your farm when the event ends.

Johnny and Heidi have invited our old friend Kris Kringle back to the farm this year to help with teaching the twins the giving spirit of the season.

Kris is already on his way, and this year he will be bringing his wife Mrs. Kringle. They’ve have asked for our help in completing a couple little pet projects they have around this time of year.

Help show the twins what the holidays are all about by decorating the farm, going caroling, baking goods, hanging stockings, and lighting the tree.

Also, this year you can get in on the holiday action yourself by giving gifts away to other FarmVille: Country Escape players! ’Tis the Season.

Finish the rare Heart of the Holidays Event items List on or before January 1st, 2017 to get the exclusive, Reindeer Cat, which is a permanent Farm Hand and much more!

If you are at least level 12, you will see a pop-up inviting you to the Winter Ice Festival Event! You will need to force close the game to see the update, which means to clear it from your mobile device’s memory. You may even need to reboot your device.

Start off the quests by visiting the Crystal Plaza, located behind Eagle Eye Eddie’s airplane. The Event HQ, decorated with Ice Sculptures and stacks of Ice Blocks, is where you earn Artistry points, and display the leaderboard.

The Winter Ice Festival Event starts on 11/30/2016. It has 2 stages, giving you a total of 12 days to compete with players for the top leaderboard position and complete the Winter Ice Festival quests.

The top 5 players at the end of each stage get to earn the exclusive Snow Fox Farm Hand. Those ending up in the Silver tier will get Gold Stamps, Padlocks, and Keys, while players in the Bronze tier will get Silver Stamps, Padlocks, and Golden Gloves!

The 2nd Stage will start on 12/06/2016, giving you another shot to win the Snow Fox as a Farm Hand. If you have won the Snow Fox from the first stage, this stage will give you the chance to upgrade her to a Cozy Snow Fox.

Note: You will only be able to earn one of the rewards, not all three! Your rank on the last day of the event determines the reward you will receive!

The Crystal Plaza is located behind Eagle Eye Eddie. You will see 3 orders at a time that either can be harvested (crops), or crafted. Each item requested will have a different timer to allow you time to get the items needed.

Tip: Check the Farm Stand often to see if your friends are selling what you need.

Boosts: Gold and Silver Torches

You can boost the amount of Style points by 50% for coins, or by 100% with keys. There will be a timer once a boost is activated and a short cool-down period when you can buy another boost. Boosts will last 1 hour, and you can only select one boost at a time. (prices subject to change based on level)

Leaderboard:

The second tab will show you the leaderboard that you are in. Not everyone you know will be in the same leaderboard. The leaderboard tab will tell you which prize category you are currently in (Gold, Silver, or Bronze). You can also see how you rank among your friends. To be fair to all, you will be in a leaderboard with others of the same level.

Rewards:

You will see 3 different rewards that are broken into tiers. If you are in the top (Gold) portion of your leaderboard on the final day of the event, you will get the exclusive Snow Fox Farm Hand. If you are in the middle tier (Silver) at the end of the event, you will receive 2 Gold Stamps, 2 Padlocks and 10 Keys. The lowest tier (Bronze) will reward you with 1 Silver Stamp, a Padlock, and 5 Golden Gloves. Now, for the very first time, participants will earn 5 Coffee Cups and 5 Chocolate Chips in the first phase, and 1,000 Coins in the second phase. You will only receive one of the rewards at the end, not all three.

Temporary Place of Interest: Glacial Court

Across the road from the Event HQ is the Glacial Court. You can send up to 4 Farm Hands here to get Event items such as Coffee Cups, Chocolate Chips, and Small Logs.

Purchase the ice-exploring Pepper Penguin, and/or Ice Artiste Isabelle to help you during the Winter Ice Festival Event. They will help you find the needed rare event items, and will leave your farm once the event ends.

Harvest season is in full swing on the farm, and the farmhands are celebrating this year’s bounty with a Cornucopia Balloon Festival! Pilot Penelope is back, and ready for liftoff.

If you are at least level 12, you will see a pop-up inviting you to the Cornucopia Balloon Festival. You will need to force close the game to see the update, which means to clear it from your mobile device’s memory. You may even need to reboot your device.

Note: You will need to reach Level 14 to unlock Phase 3, and Level 18 to play phases 4 and 5.

You will have until 11/27/2016 to complete the Cornucopia Balloon Festival quests, and win a month long visit from Penelope the Pilot!

Start off the quests by visiting the Event Green located behind Eagle Eye Eddie’s airplane. Decorated with picnic tables, and a big autumn tree, what’s not to love this season?

There will be Cornucopias along the way that will give out rewards that will help in the next phase. Some rewards will be items needed to explore the Mine, Pond, etc.

The Festival Drop Zone is a temporary area that will drop the different items needed in each recipe. For example, it will drop Rye Flour, which you will need in Phase 1.

You have the option to purchase the distinguished-looking, top hat-wearing, Grand Marshall, and/or the Turkey, as Farm Hands to help you out in the Cornucopia Balloon Festival. The Animal Inn! (Official Guide)

Folks sometimes let their farms run unsupervised when they go away to visit friends or attend to business in the city. But they often have a finicky animal (or two!) that can’t be left alone. Help them out by opening an inn where their animals can play while they’re away! With the holiday season almost upon us, it’s the need of the hour! Win a gorgeous Baby Anglo Kabarda Horse as a reward for running a successful inn!

Getting Started

If you are level 15 or above, the “The Very First Animal Inn is Here!” pop-up will appear. Click on “Build the Animal Inn!” to begin this feature.

Collect all the materials to build the Animal Inn.

Then, invite your friends to help you build, or hire builders.

Checking-in Guests with Permits

Guests will wait at the Reception for you to open a room. Check-in an animal by clicking on the Check-Inbutton below the room in which you want to place them.

You’ll need Permits to open rooms for your animal guests. There are 2 kinds of Permits: Premium Permitsand Standard Permits. You can earn them by demonstrating your animal care skill. Raise any animal on your farm to an adult and you’ll get Premium Permits. You’ll get Standard Permits when you feed or superfeed the animals on your farm.

Types of Rooms

The two different Permits let you open different types of rooms. Use Premium Permits to check your guests into plush Premium Rooms, while Standard Permits let you open comfy, cozy Standard Rooms.

Different animals will stay in a room for different lengths of time. The sign on the reception will let you know that particular animal’s Stay Time in a room. Once the animal has been checked-in, there’ll be a timer below the room that counts down to when the animal will leave.

Earning Star Reviews

When the timer runs out, the animal will automatically check-out of the room and leave Star Reviews. Collect enough Star Reviews, and you’ll win amazing rewards and the baby Anglo Kabarda Horse.

Note that animals in Premium Rooms will leave more Star Reviews than animals in Standard Rooms. So, fill in your Premium Rooms to progress and win faster!

Full House Bonus

You can also collect extra Star Reviews through the Full-House Bonus tracker! This tracks the number of animals staying at your inn (the number of rooms filled) at a given time. Having 2 or more guests at the same time will move the meter up and grant you bonus Star Reviews! (Animals like to socialize, you see.) You’ll earn Star Reviews every time the meter moves up to 2, 3 and 4 animals. And having a Full-House, which is all 5 rooms filled, will give you a bumper amount of Star Reviews! The more rooms filled, the merrier!

Here are the different rewards you’ll win when you earn enough Star Reviews to reach certain milestones:

Milestone 2: A super useful Resource Pack!

Helper Cards

Get help from your Friends to activate Helper Cards which will give you amazing Boosts! Post for Reception Bells so your friends can send you help. Once you have enough Reception Bells, you can activate the Helper Card. Different Helper Cards have different Boosts! Here are the different Helper Card powers for the Animal Inn:

Get twice the number of Permits when you feed, superfeed and raise you farm animals;
Check an animal in to a room for free (without Permits), or empty an Occupied room and get the Star Reviews immediately;
Animals at the Reception, once placed in a room, will give twice the number of Star Reviews when they leave

Your Animal Guests

Your friends and neighbors will bring a steady stream of animal guests to your inn. Some of the animals are rare and very distinct-looking, and an owner just might make you an offer to keep the animal for your very own! When purchased, these special animals will give you twice the number of Permits when you feed, superfeed and raise them!
